Thermoplastic is the default marking material on Indian national and state highways because it bonds to asphalt at 180–200°C, carries a high glass-bead loading, and outlasts solvent paint by several years on busy carriageways.
What we apply
- Centre lines, lane lines and edge lines
- Zebra crossings, stop lines and give-way markings
- Arrows, speed legends and hatched islands
- Warehouse and factory floor traffic lanes
How we specify the work
Every package states film thickness, bead drop-on rate, colour (white/yellow per IRC:35) and retroreflectivity targets. We use calibrated applicators so line width and thickness stay inside the drawing tolerance — the usual cause of disputes on PWD measurements.
Where thermoplastic is the right call
National highways, municipal arterials, bus bays and any site where night visibility and whole-life cost matter. Cold paint remains useful only for temporary diversions or very low-traffic private roads.
